The most surprising thing about being a first-time mom is how tiring and “foggy” it can feel in the beginning but yet how you instantly have this amazing bond with this new person!

My expectation vs. experience breastfeeding was I thought it would be easy but it ended up being hard and stressful when our first child had difficultly latching!

The best piece of advice about motherhood is be open and flexible. If your child has difficulty breastfeeding, it’s ok to try formula. Throw out any idea of what you think you “should” do and go with what works for you and your family.
